Nellie Yvonne Walls
August 29, 1933 - February 15, 2010
Nellie Yvonne McClintock Walls was born in Haskell County, Texas August 29, 1933 to Earl and Lena McClintock. She went to be with the Lord and Savior February 15, 2010 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She attended schools in Gomez, Brownfield and Santa Anna, Texas. Yvonne married the love of her life, Jesse Walls in l975. She had an adventurous spirit and a generous giving nature which she exhibited as a caregiver for Jesse, his family members, friends and her father and mother.
Yvonne is survived by two sons, Charles Wallace and wife Sandra, Jody Wallace and wife, Maria; two daughters: Glenna Nickerson and Arlena Gordon. Her sisters are Earlene Scott of Georgetown, TX, Joyce Leffingwell of Odessa, TX and Rev. LaVelle Haynes and husband Rev. James Lyndon Haynes of Horseshoe Bay, TX.
Nine grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of friends, especially Luesta Davis of Marlow, Ok and Doris Hurley of Georgetown, TX were loved and cherished by Yvonne. Her faithful and constant companion, Reba the kitty, brought her many hours of pleasure and comfort during her illness.
Yvonne was preceded into Eternal Celebration by her husband and parents.
A memorial service will be officiated by Rev. James L. Haynes at the Santa Anna Cemetery pavilion at Santa Anna, Texas on Saturday March 6, 2010 at 1:00 O'clock
