Hershal James Lee Maxwell, 82, of Kingsland passed away July 4, 2010. He was born to Johnnie Jackson and Willie Pearl (Hewett) Maxwell on July 3, 1928 in Burnet County, Texas.

He proudly served his country in the Untied States Army. He loved to deer hunt, fish and enjoyed working in his garden.

He is survived by his nieces, Carolyn Maxwell McMillian, of Conroe, TX, Michelle Maxwell Boeck, San Antonio, TX, nephew William Glenn Maxwell, of Conroe, TX, 6 great-nephews and nieces, and 8 great-great nephews and nieces.
